The skoll scholarship is designed to give social entrepreneurs the knowledge, skills and networks they need to turn ideas into reality.

And deepen their conviction for doing so..

Each year, the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship awards five full
scholarships to individuals who wish to enter the one year full-time Oxford MBA programme.

To qualify, you need a proven track record in social entrepreneurship and a clear vision for the impact the MBA can make to society.

The Scholarship covers fees and a stipend for living costs.  The application fee can be waived for candidates from developing economies.

“Like a lot of us, I see huge challenges in creating sustainable communities and societies that are more equitable and just.  I think in many ways doing so will be my generation’s WWII, our defining challenge.”

Jesse Fahnestock, Skoll Scholar and MBA 2004/5

Applications are considered on a first come first served basis.  The deadline for the second round of admissions is the 12 January, 2007.  Please be aware that evidence of academic qualifications, English language skills, general cognitive skills – assessed through accredited GMAT assessment centres – and professional references, form an integral part of your application.
